Sniper Contracts 2: I was exposed - what to do? Sniper Contracts 2 guide, walkthrough
Last update: 15 June 2021
In this section of the guide to Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, you'll learn how to behave when the enemy exposes you. You'll also learn how to lose a chase, what to do when you're fleeing, and how to prevent getting exposed.
Environment
If the enemy spots you and alerts everyone in the area, there are several ways to avoid pursuit. First, use cover and vegetation to hide - enemies tend to check your last location, and scour a small area. Pay attention to the indicator in the lower right corner of the screen - there you will find a hint (as in the screen below), whether you are hidden.
The second way to use the environment is Mask mode and searching for crates to hide. In this mode, they will be highlighted for you. Take into account the fact that it takes while to enter a crate, so you need to have enough time.
Gadgets and skills
There are certain gadgets and skills that will help you better hide or lure opponents to another place. Universal Camouflage and Advanced Camouflage in The Infiltrator tree make it easier to hide. In the same tree, you will also find a skill that will make it much easier for you to sneak into opponents – Wraith makes walking and sprinting silent.
Mask Mode ability - Tracking Plugin, will allow you to Select all enemies within 25 meters. This is a useful skill when you have to sneak between enemies.
Basic gadget to distract opponents luring ammo - some pistols and sniper rifles allow shooting with this type of ammunition. When choosing a weapon for a mission, look for weapons that can use this type of ammo (green icon in the photo below).
The drone can also lure opponents and if you prefer more stationary gadgets, it is worth considering decoys with booby traps and gas mines which, when improved, also lure opponents within a radius of 5 meters.
