The fifth colossus is found to the northeast, so you need to travel to the mountain, which you've passed through while heading for the previous boss, and find a path that leads left. There is a fissure in the rock at the end of the meadow.

Enter the cave and press R2 to dive and get past the portal in the sunken ruins. Climb to the tower and proceed to the barrier - a cut-scene will begin. Use the hole in the wall to jump into the water.

Now you have to place yourself on the middle pedestal, one of three that emerge from the water. Equip your bow and shoot at the colossus who is sitting on one of the obelisks. Your opponent will start flying in your direction. Prepare for the encounter by holding the grab button (R2). You can also jump to be sure of getting hold of the dragon's wing.

Only the middle platform enables you to get a hold of the wing - a player standing on the other two platforms will be hit by the blast wave

A vulnerable area on the opponent's tail

When your opponent manages to stabilize its flight, climb onto its back. There are three vital spots on its body - at the end of its tail and at the ends of its wings. The first one will be simple and easy to access.

The wings are a tougher nut to crack. You need to wait for a moment where the dragon has stabilized its flight i.e. has stopped flapping its wings. Otherwise, its flapping movements will prevent you from attacking or will make hanging onto the wing unfeasible. Any attempt to hang onto the wing during the wing's movement will take a lot of strength - if you have less than a half of your strength gauge, return to the colossus' back in order to not be thrown back into the water.
