Last update: 20 January 2022
This page of the guide to Ruined King: A League of Legends Story contains basic information about character development.
You can't create your own character in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. Instead, you will meet subsequent characters at specific stages of the game as the story progresses, and you will be able to develop them as you wish.
Skills
Every time, when the characters of Ruined King: A League of Legends Story level up, they also gain one skill point which you can use to improve instant abilites, alley skills or passive abilites.
We should note that the skill development system in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is very flexible, because players can withdraw used skill points to use them in other ways. This can be done for free.
Runes
Once you've reached experience level 8, you will unlock access to runic cards that allow you to personalize the characters' abilites even better. Each character has two runic cards to choose from which are quite different from one another and provide different bonuses, so it is worth thinking carefully about how you want to spend your Rune Shards.
Similarly to the skill development, you can reclaim the Rune Shards at any time and use them for other perks.
Additional Rune Shards in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story can be earned by collecting Scrolls which you will find in different areas of Runeterra.
Equipment
Each character in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story can wear certain items that are appropriate only for their class, such as a shield for Braum or a sword for Yasuo. However, some items, such as rings or amulets can be used on any character.
The equipment your characters wear affect their stats. Before you put an item on a character, make sure that you don't lower the value of any important statistics.
