This chapter will discuss walkthough of first chapter of the game. At first, you will have to watch many cutscenes that will gradually introduce you into the game world. Here, you will learn that you will have to pay a gigantic debt. Access the map of the kingdom and go to the inn. You will find out that there is a dangerous beast that has been haunting the kingdom. Go to the castle and press the journey icon. Go to the location marked with the question mark.

At the very beginning of your journey, you will run into the beast, which turns out to be just a woman from a savage tribe. You will have to defeat her in battle. Watch out, because the woman casts AoE spells. It is best to approach her as Griffith, while keeping your distance as Kay. After the fight, you will learn the woman's name and she will join your party.

After a while, you will reach an encampment, where you can regenerate your health. After you reach the next field, you will find out that a group of bandits has crossed your path. Regardless of your decision, you will have to fight them. The battle is a perfect opportunity to put to proof combat value of your new party member. As the woman, attack larger groups of enemies and cast Whirlwind. Have Kay replenish armor whereas Griffith can fight the rest of the enemies. After the battle, return to the city and celebrate your first successful journey.

In the castle, the grandfather's spirit will tell you to complete 5 royal quests before 54 days elapse. Get busy!
