Judgment: Trophies / Achievements - list Judgment Guide, Walkthrough

This page contains a Trophy Guide for Judgment on PS4 and PS5. It explains exactly how to get 100% of all achievements and how to unlock the platinum trophy.

Last update: 29 November 2021

On this page you will find Trophy guide to "Judgment" game, in which we described in great detail all 47 trophies. You will find out what are trophies requirements and how to deal with them, as well as how much time you need to spend to unlock the platinum trophy in Judgment.

The most important information about Judgment's trophies

  1. Judgment allows you to earn up to 47 trophies. One of them is the platinum trophy, but it is only available for PS4 and PS5 versions of the game. In addition, you can get 4 gold trophies, 4 silver and 38 bronze ones.
  2. The Judgment's game versions for the PS4 and PS5 have individual trophy lists. Despite the trophies have identical requirements you still need to unlock them separately on each of the platforms. This also means that, having two copies of the Judgment game (on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5), you can obtain trophies on both and in result get two platinum trophies.
  3. Judgment's Platinum Trophy is difficult and very time-consuming. You have to reckon with the fact that in order to get Platinum one you will have to spend up to 100 hours or more with the game.
  4. The most difficult trophies are those that force you to prove a high level of skills. This refers, in particular, to the achievements associated with the selected mini-games in Judgment in which you need to achieve great results. They can prove to be a very serious obstacle because of the high level of challenge.
  5. You must complete the game at least twice to earn Platinum Trophy. This is due to the fact that you need to complete the story campaign in the Legend Mode. This is a higher difficulty level that becomes available only after you complete the game for the first time. However, the Premium Adventure Mode known from Yakuza series, which is also present in the game, makes it slightly easier. It allows you to continue the gameplay after the end of the main storyline in order to deal with further character development and unfinished optional activities.
  6. Some trophies can be missed or omitted and in this situation it will be necessary to load the previous save (if you have one) or return to them only on the next playthrough of the game. All such problematic achievements (there are a total of seven) have been specifically marked in the text. The biggest problem can by caused by the Oh look, a cat! achievement which involves performing easy-to-miss actions throughout the main storyline. Try to follow them from the beginning of the prologue.
  7. All trophies are available in Single Player Mode. Judgment does not offer any achievements in Multiplayer Mode.

Detective of Legend

Trophy type: gold

Description: Complete the game on the Legend difficulty level.

Note: The "Legend" is a name of the highest difficulty level available in the game. It is not available from the very beginning of the game. You must first complete the main story at the standard difficulty level and then proceed to the "Legend" Mode during second playthrough of the game.

Here are some tips for helping you to get this achievement:

  1. Do not rush to start the second run again, because you can transfer progress from the first playthrough of the game. Legend Mode works similar to NG+ (New Game Plus) - you can move to it e.g. earlier unlocked items and skills, as well as the development level of your main character. Try to do as many quests as possible in the first run and try to complete the game in 100% in order to make the hero stronger. This will make it easier for you to complete the game at the Legend difficulty, because you will play a stronger and more developed character. Also, you won't have to deal with the previously completed activities.
  2. You can focus on the main story because only it is required to obtain the described achievement. You can skip side quests (or use this feature to enhance the overall strength your character).
  3. Save the game as often as possible. The main reason for this action is that the Legend Mode does not allow you to repeat lost fights. If you will be defeated, the only solution will be to load the previous save. Saving game is especially important if you are facing a boss fight or a series of clashes within a single location. By the way, try to have a lot of potions and various strengthening items and use them to reduce the risk of sudden death.

On the Case

Trophy type: bronze - Judgment: Trophies / Achievements - list - Basics - Judgment Guide

Trophy type: bronze

Description: Complete 10 Side Cases.

Note: Side Cases are in other words side quests and similar missions to Substories fromYakuza game series. A full list of these can be found on the List of side cases in the Side cases section of our Walkthrough. You can choose any 10 easier missions.

Additional note - You must complete all actions of side quest in a single run to obtain all trophies. If you decide to restart the campaign with the New Game+, the progress in the previously started side quests will reset.

Local Detective

Trophy type: bronze

Description: Complete 30 Side Cases.

Note: This is a more difficult version of the above-described trophy - On the Case. You have to complete another 20 side cases, and you can still choose the cases you're interested in.

Got to the Bottom of It

Trophy type: gold

Description: Complete all Side Cases.

Note: This is a much more difficult version of the achievements described above On the Case and Local Detective because you need to complete all 50 side cases.

There are two main problems with this trophy - the last two side missions will be unlocked only after reaching the 50th reputation level, and in addition, some of them may concern, for example, taking part in particular mini-games. Unfortunately, unlike the achievements described above, this time you can't skip any side quest.

A Friendly Guy

Trophy type: bronze - Judgment: Trophies / Achievements - list - Basics - Judgment Guide

Trophy type: bronze

Description: Made 10 friends.

Note: The game mechanics of making friends with people can be encountered for the very first time in Chapter 1. People with whom there is an opportunity to make friends are marked with unique icons on the city map. You don't make friends immediately when you meet an NPC. First, you must do one or a series of activities related to the person e.g. to do a favor or help in solving some problems.

A list of friends and their requirements can be found on the other page of our guide - Friends and their missions. In the case of the aforementioned trophy, you can choose any of 10 people to start a relationship.

A Popular Guy

Trophy type: bronze

Description: Made 30 friends.

Note: It's a harder version of the A Friendly Guy trophy. You must meet another 20 (randomly chosen) people and complete their missions.

A Guy Everybody Knows

Trophy type: silver

Description: Made 50 friends.

Note: This is a much more difficult version of the achievements described above A Friendly Guy and A Popular Guy because you need to make friends with all available people. You can't skip any of them and it can be problematic if one of NPCs has a difficult task to perform.

Going Steady

Trophy type: bronze - Judgment: Trophies / Achievements - list - Basics - Judgment Guide

Trophy type: bronze

Description: A girl revealed her true feelings.

Note: This is one of the trophies associated with the dating feature available in the game world, which we described in detail in the Side activities chapter. To obtain the described achievement, you can choose any of the 4 available candidates. Women with whom you can have a romantic relationship have been listed below:

  1. Sana Mihama - it is necessary to complete a side case Amidst A Dream.
  2. Nanami Matsuoka - it is necessary to complete a side case Smart Watching.
  3. Tsukino Saotome - it is necessary to complete a side case The Pervert King Side Case.
  4. Amane - it is necessary to complete a side case The Fire Calamity.

Depending on the girl, Takayuki will be able to send her a message or she will contact with the main character by herself. Dating a woman will cause you to level up to the next Intimacy level. The ultimate goal is to bring to a situation in which the girl will reveal to the character that she is in love with him. This will allow you to be with her and unlock the achievement.

Ladies, Please

Trophy type: bronze

Description: Two girls revealed their true feelings.

Note: This is a more difficult version of the above-described Going Steady trophy. It is worth to say that Yagami can be in a relationship with several women in the same time. It is not required to end the current relationship after receiving a confession of love from one of the other girls.

Now You're Just Bragging

Trophy type: bronze

Description: Four girls revealed their true feelings.

Note: It's a harder version of Going Steady and Ladies, Please trophies. You have to date four girls and get involved with each of them. The facilitation is that none of the romances in the game you can fail. Even if the date goes wrong, you will always have a chance to meet again.

Skill Dabbler

Trophy type: bronze - Judgment: Trophies / Achievements - list - Basics - Judgment Guide

Trophy type: bronze

Description: Obtain 30 skills.

Note: This is one of several trophies associated with the development of the main character. We described this issue in detail on the page Experience and character development in the Basics chapter.

As a reminder, you can buy new skills in the Skills app by spending your Skill Points. You can choose any 30 skills and it is best to decide first on those available for purchase from the very beginning of the game.

Skill Pro

Trophy type: bronze

Description: Obtain 60 skills.

Note: It's a harder version of the Skill Dabbler achievement. You need to unlock another 30 skills.

Skill Master

Trophy type: bronze - Judgment: Trophies / Achievements - list - Basics - Judgment Guide

Trophy type: bronze

Description: Acquire all skills.

Note: This is a much more difficult trophy than the achievements described above Skill Dabbler and Skill Pro because in this case you have to unlock all 126 skills. It is very likely that you will get them at the very end of your playthrough.

An additional barrier is that some skills become available for purchase only after scanning the QR code or finding the Skill Book. If you miss the books that were to be obtain during your run, then they will be offered by the merchant Morio Onodera in the sewers (check the picture above).

Requirements depend on the type of the store and include e.g. more difficult and problematic mini-games. Keep in mind that it will take you a very long time to complete the challenges of all stores and that will require considerable skills in some cases.

KamuroGo Tourist

Trophy type: bronze - Judgment: Trophies / Achievements - list - Basics - Judgment Guide

Trophy type: bronze

Description: Complete 10 KamuroGo City Missions.

Note: This is one of the achievements associated with the KamuroGo App installed on the main character's smartphone. It's about the challenges of the City group.

In the "City" category there are many challenges associated with various activities in the city, e.g. with playing mini-games, visiting restaurants or collecting money. First, you can choose the easiest ones, i.e. the ones with the lowest SP rewards. This will allow you to get the trophy faster.

Note: This is a very simple trophy, as it offers freedom of choice on items for sale. Ebisu Pawn is the pawnshop, which is visible on the map of Kamurocho from the beginning of the game. Note: This is another very easy achievement. You can visit any shops (please note that these cannot be restaurants or bars) and make any purchases in them. If you want to get a trophy quickly, then buy the cheapest things (e.g. basic kinds of medicines).

The Bird's the Word

Trophy type: bronze - Judgment: Trophies / Achievements - list - Basics - Judgment Guide

Trophy type: bronze

Oh Look, a Cat!

Attention - This trophy can be skipped easily - Judgment: Trophies / Achievements - list - Basics - Judgment Guide

Attention - This trophy can be skipped easily. In this situation, you will have to load an earlier save or wait until you play the entire game one more time.

Trophy type: bronze

Description: Found all stray cats from the Main Story by using the Search Mode.

Note: The most important problem with this trophy is that you can very easily loose a chance to obtain it. You need to find 14 stray cats as you make progress in the main storyline. If you miss some cat and don't notice that, then you will lose the chance to unlock the achievement within a single run, because it doesn't allow you to return to earlier chapters.

We present all cats locations on the Stray Cats page. You'll be able to find them through the Search Mode. Always look for the cat first before you deal with the current mission objective, because otherwise the Search Mode may end too early and you will have to load the previous save.

Zombie Apocalypse Survivor

Trophy type: bronze - Judgment: Trophies / Achievements - list - Basics - Judgment Guide

Trophy type: bronze

Description: Obtain 50 pickups in Kamuro of the Dead.

Note: Kamuro of the Dead is the name of one of the slot machines similar to one's from the House of the Dead games series and located in the SEGA Club in Theater Square. This is so-called rail shooter in which your task is to eliminate monsters on the screen.

During your game you may notice some interactive objects (e.g. boxes) and hitting each of them causes automatic conquering of a new item. In a single game, you will probably destroy only a few objects in this way, so you have to reckon with the need to join the mini-game several or even dozens of times.

Trophy type: bronze - Judgment: Trophies / Achievements - list - Basics - Judgment Guide

Trophy type: bronze

Description: Win first place in each D-League race.

Note: The trophy is related to Drone Racing which are one of the more extensive mini-games in Judgment. You'll unlock the Races for the first time through Chapter 2 of the campaign.

You must win all races in one series, therefore it's a good idea to save the game before each next race, so you won't have to restart the entire series. Remember to get as many parts for the drones as possible in order to improve your flying machine and increase the chances of winning races.

Drone Enthusiast

Trophy type: bronze - Judgment: Trophies / Achievements - list - Basics - Judgment Guide

Trophy type: bronze

Note: This is a trophy thematically associated with drone racing and in this case you need to obtain parts, used to modify your own drone.

New parts can be produced in the Drone Lab at Millenium Tower, although some of them may have requirements such as promotion to the next leagues or finding QR codes associated with parts. Materials required for production can be obtained through the exploration of the game world, but also e.g. from mencharts like Onodera or from Ebisu Pawn and Dragon's Palace. You have to expect that collecting all the drone parts will be a time-consuming process.

Note: This achievement consists in playing games in two arcade saloons called Club SEGA located in Kamurocho.

The first arcade saloon is next to the Theater Square and offers the following games:

  1. Darts,
  2. Kamuro of the Dead (a video game),

That's when the side quest A Final Request will be unlocked which concerns the fight with Amon. In addition, do your best to develop your character and pick up the best equipment to reduce the risk of failure.

Trophy type: bronze

Note: The person associated with this achievement is Rie Tomioka and she is with one of the characters with whom you can make friends during the game. The opportunity to starting a relationship appears for the first time during the Chapter 2. You can meet Tomioka after ordering a hamburger at Smile Burger on Nakamichi Street. Yagami will be able to become a taster of her homemade meals.

From the meeting at Smile burger, from time to time you will find some meal in the fridge in Yagami's agency. You need to taste it and send Rie a message about it. You must repeat this activity until you have tasted all 5 types of food prepared by her:

  1. Beef Stew
  2. Fried Shrimp
  3. Hamburg Steak
  4. Meat and Potato Stew
  5. Omurice

Keep in mind that in the refrigerator there might be the same meal, because many of them will be repeated. You have to eat them all and hope that the next time the game will draw something new from the pool.
