Conversations and searching for evidence in Judgment

Besides fighting or chasing, our character often has to communicate with others, choose the right dialog lines, or find important clues. This chapter focuses on this mechanic.

During the game, you occasionally encounter a character with whom you can talk. You can choose dialogue lines to learn more about a particular case, etc. Don't worry - such dialogues are linear. Even when you have to, e.g. point one of the evidence, you can make as many mistakes as you want. So don't worry, you can experiment and choose what you want during a conversation, this won't affect the course of the game.

As for searching for evidence, we often have to go to the first person mode and look for the right object. Sometimes, we have to find a person, or catch something strange. In this case, Photo Op Sense skill is very useful - it makes the gamepad vibrate when you are near something that can interest you. Move the camera until you come across the desired object, and then press X to make Yagami note his comments.
