Judgment is an action-adventure game with a plot and atmosphere reminiscent of thrillers and crime movies. We play as a detective running a difficult investigation and fighting with crime. The game was developed by the authors of the popular Yakuza series - Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. The game presents the action from the third-person perspective. Judgment is an extensive action-adventure game. The gameplay consists of elements such as exploring a three-dimensional environment, interrogating witnesses, tracking suspects (we can dress-up to effectively handle this task) or collecting evidence.

Or knowledge of the games in the series Yakuka required?

No. Judgment is a different story, and there will be no Kiryu. Those who played the Yakuza series will recognize the city of Kamurocho and some minor characters, or references to the Yakuza. You can play Judgment even if you haven't played the previous games.

Is Judgment significantly different from the Yakuza game?

Yes and no. The main gameplay is identical to Yakuza 6 - including the engine, some animations, and the location in which the game is taking place. The difference is the main character and some new elements in the series, such as tailing suspects, chases, finding evidence or interrogations. However, these changes aren't huge and veterans of the series will quickly find their way in the game.

Does Judgment have English voice-over?

Yes. The game offers both Japanese and English voices. You can also choose, e.g. Japanese and English subtitles.

Will Judgment get released on PC?

At the moment, the developers have not mentioned anything about the PC version. However, given the fact that the Yakuza games are on to PC, it can be assumed that sooner or later Judgment will come to this platform. However, currently, it remains a PS4 exclusive.
