Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga has debuted in theaters. The movie, starring Anya Taylor-Joy in the lead role, is a prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road and takes a look at the youth of the title character, who was played by Charlize Theron in the 2015 production in an older version. Although Furiosa is only at the beginning of its cinematic journey, reviews about it have been pouring in online for some time now, and it looks like we're in for a solid post-apocalyptic production worth watching.

Where was Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga filmed?
Although Furiosa was mostly shot outdoors, there were scenes that required a presence in a film studio. The Disney Studio at Moore Park in Sydney, Australia, was used during work on this production. Anyway, the film was shot entirely in various locations in Australia. Among them was Sydney, where not only the film studio was used, but also other locations such as Melrose Park and Kurnell.
In addition to Sydney, Furiosa's team also made a stop in Silverton, which is one of the main locations. It served as the wiasteland through which the characters traveled in this post-apocalyptic world. Silverton is ideal for Mad Max because of its picturesque desert surroundings and numerous ruins and old buildings.
Also captured in Furiosa is Broken Hill, a remote mining town that was also used as a wasteland from Mad Max.
Shooting for the Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga began on June 1, 2022, and was completed in October 2022. Interestingly, it took 78 days to shoot one action sequence and required nearly 200 stuntmen on set.
