The finale of Severance is fast approaching. The series has taken viewers on another wild ride, and as with series 1, season 2 has also been very well received by critics and viewers. And they are certainly looking forward to the season finale, which is coming soon.

How long will Severance season 2 finale be?

The final episode of Severance season 2 is scheduled to air on March 21, 2025, so we are only a few days away from it. The creators of the show have quite a surprise for fans – it is to be the longest episode of the Apple TV+ series. Severance season 2 finale will last as long as 76 minutes, which is quite a leap compared to the fact that usually episodes of this series last about 40 minutes. It will therefore last almost as long as two standard episodes of the show.

But that's not all, episode 10 of Severance season 2 is also expected to be the most violent episode of the series, which is hardly famous for its brutality. The Australian Classification Board gave it an MA 15+ rating due to “strong violence and blood and gore.” Usually episodes in Australia were rated M. What distinguishes these age categories is that M is an advisory category and MA 15+ legally restricted category.

So, an exceptional finale is coming for which Severance fans should prepare well, as it promises to be an exciting ending of the season. According to the official description of the season 2 finale, Mark is to make a tentative alliance, taking part in a game of everything. The team, meanwhile, makes one last dangerous attempt. How will everything resolve for the heroes of the hit Apple TV+ show?
