Minecraft fans started a discussion on Reddit about what should be removed from the game. Most were in agreement when pointing to one issue.
- Minecraft community on Reddit started a discussion about what should actually be removed from the game.
- The vast majority of players are calling for the new moderation rules to be kicked.
- Phantoms and level restrictions when using the anvil were also criticized.
The Minecraft community on Reddit has seen a rather interesting discussion these last few days. Fans considered not what should appear in the game in the future, but what should be removed from it. Their conclusions are quite interesting, as they concern many completely different elements.
What Minecraft doesn't need
The post in question garnered more than 6,000 responses on Reddit, which clearly indicates that the discussion was fierce. However, one can easily distinguish the most frequently raised issues. One of them should come as no surprise to anyone who is up to date with what is going on in the Minecraft community.
This is because dozens of people are calling for the removal of the new moderation rules that were introduced into the game with the release of update 1.19.1. They make it possible for Mojang moderators to ban players for predetermined offenses even on private servers.
This change, by the way, has been stirring controversy for quite some time, as we wrote last month. Many fans don't like the new rules, which are said to be a blow to the freedom that prevailed on servers set up by players (they were governed by their own rules).
Other elements demanded for removal relate directly to the gameplay itself. For example, the level restriction during the use of the anvil was very often criticized. Many players would have preferred that such a solution did not appear in the game at all.
Fans were also merciless to Phantoms, which they consider annoying mobs whose only role is to force players to sleep. Their annoying tendency to attack players just when they are at a great height, where a fall ends in instant death, was also repeatedly pointed out.
In addition, many players pointed out individual and less popular issues. All of them, of course, can be found in the thread on Reddit. However, the three items described above were by far the most common.
