IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. The new update for Wasteland 3 cuts down loading times by up to several dozen seconds.
  2. The stability of the console versions has also been improved, and bugs blocking progress have been removed.

The new update for Wasteland 3 significantly reduces loading times. This will definitely make people who use save scumming happy.

According to information provided by inXile Entertainment, after installation of patch 1.1.2 on PC, the loading times will be reduced by up to 60% (the game has loaded on the tested PC in 13 seconds, compared to the previous 38 seconds) and on consoles by 25%. This effect was achieved by rewriting from scratch the system responsible for loading locations in Wasteland 3.

In addition, the list of changes also mentions stability (especially on consoles), fixing of many bugs that blocked progress of the story and improvements in cooperation mode. Also, the skin of some characters was improved.

The update for Wasteland 3 is available on Steam and GOG. Editions available on Microsoft Store and consoles will receive the fix next week.
