Wasteland 3 The Battle of Steeltown DLC Gets Release Date and Trailer
The first story DLC for Wasteland 3 has received a release date. We will return to post-apocalyptic Colorado on June 3 in The Battle of Steeltown.
- Wasteland 3 will receive its first story DLC on June 3;
- The Battle of Steeltown will offer a story related to the Patriarch factories;
- The DLC will also introduce new gameplay elements and expand the inventory.
Soon Wasteland 3 will be enriched with a new DLC. The Battle of Steeltown will be available to players from June 3. It's the first story expansion prepared for the warmly received RPG from inXile entertainment. Until now, the game offered only one expansion in the form of Colorado Survival Gear, a small pack of special equipment.
The Battle of Steeltown will take the players to the so-called Steeltown, a factory complex where weapons and other equipment used by the Colorado Springs law enforcement are manufactured. This is one of the most important locations under the Patriarch's control. Unfortunately, the constant attacks of bandits, strikes of workers, and many other obstacles pose a threat to the regular supply of equipment. So our group of Rangers will be sent by the leader of Colorado in order to deal with the growing problems.
The DLC will offer a completely new location, which will be filled with missions and new enemies. The expansion will also expand some mechanics and enable different ways of solving problems than before. In clashes, we'll be able to use new forms of cover and weapons that will not kill our opponents. The game will also include more original songs and covers, which will expand the radio, making our ride through Colorado more pleasant. The developers also announced that the new gameplay elements will also apply outside of Steeltown.
