Assail Psyker Build in Warhammer 40K Darktide. Skill Tree for Patch 13
Recent Patch 13 introduced a skill tree to Darktide 40K. It changed builds quite drastically. Let’s look at the interesting Psyker build with Assail.
While Warhammer 40K Darktide is not in its prime time, developers did not abandon the game. It is still developed. A very good example of that is the recent Patch 13. It introduced a great change to this title – skill trees and points. It changed the class development quite a little bit, and old guides in this subject are not very helpful anymore. This is why we have decided to update Psyker Build and present you with an interesting idea for a character development. Look at our skill tree with Assail skill included, ideal combination for critical damage.
Psyker Build in Warhammer 40K Darktide Patch 13 (Skill Tree)
- It is a good idea to upgrade all 4 first slots – Soulstealer, Quietude, Warp Expenditure and Mettle. All these skills will replenish your Toughness.
- Pick Perfect Timing and progress down the skill tree. This should be your main rout.
- Pick Assail and its upgrades. Once upgraded, this skill will be able to hit up to 3 enemies and it can be self-guided.
- Invest into Mind in Motion (Movement Speed stays the same while Quelling Peril)
- Later go to Prescience (bigger critical hit chance for you and allies).
- Emphatic Evasion and Anticipation – both will make you harder to hit.
- Choose Telekine Shield and the Dome and Sancturary upgrades (it will help you survive the most dangerous situations)
- Pick Warp Rider (more damage is always good) and Kinetic Deflection (you will gain peril for blocked attacks) as passive perks.
- Select True Aim and go down to Disrupt Destiny – both of them influence critical chance and damage.
The build presented above is created for characters who deal a lot of critical damage. So, if you want to play this kind of Psyker, you should try it out. What is more, it will allow you to replenish your toughness quite easily. As the last resort, you may always use Telekine Shield to save the day (and your life).
