Owlcat Games is heating up the atmosphere before the upcoming launch of the RPG Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.
The game's developers recently released a new trailer for the game (available below), in which we are introduced to some of the important choices players will have to make. They will have considerable consequences for the direction the adventure will take.
As befits a classic RPG, decisions in Rogue Trader will overlap on many levels and their consequences will be felt not only in the "here and now", but also at a later stage of the story, if only while traversing the game world.
It is worth noting that some choices will reveal new possibilities. For example, by making an inherently "bad" decision, we will gain access to "forbidden powers."
What's more, some of our judgments will attract the attention of the powerful inquisitor Xavier Calcazar, the meeting with whom will proceed in a way that depends on the decisions we made. Taking a particular path and conducting this conversation accordingly will also unlock unique endings to the game.
Let me remind you that the latest work of Owlcat Games will offer isometric gameplay with skirmishes that will take place in turn-based formula.
Players will take on the role of a space merchant and explorer, who, by virtue of a special document, will be able to expand the borders of the Empire by traversing the poorly explored sector known as the Koronus Expanse. In space voyages the main character will be assisted by numerous companions with their own elaborate stories.
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader will launch on December 7. The title will be released simultaneously on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
Owlcat Games is a Russian studio. The company was originally founded in Moscow, and moved most of its operations to Cyprus in 2022.
