Get Ready Warhammer Fans; 9 Games From the Brand are in Development
Games Workshop, owner of the legendary Warhammer brand, has revealed that nine games from the iconic brand are in development.
Warhammer is a fascinating world, capable of surprising with a deep storyline and passionate characters. Games Workshop is aware of the fan affection for the brand, which is why it continues to develop it - including in the context of video games. The latest financial report released by Games Workshop shows that nine games from the brand are currently in development.
We know that work is underway on Space Marine 2, a sequel to the popular action game set in the dark world of Warhammer 40K, and on Age of Sigmar - Realms of Ruin, which will immerse us in the magical fantasy reality. Also being developed is Speed Freeks - the free-to-play game even completed its first successful alpha testing phase this year.
In addition, development of the role-playing game Rogue Trader and a digital card game Warpforge is progressing, which do not yet have announced release dates (Rogue Trader is currently in beta).
Broad prospects
Adding the titles described above, we conclude that development is underway for four more as-yet-unannounced games from the Warhammer universe. In addition, Games Workshop has licensed two more this year.
Games Workshop's annual report brings Warhammer fans even more reasons to cheer. The company recorded its "highest sales and highest profit" since its entry into the market 29 years ago, confirming the immense popularity of the Warhammer brand and the commitment of the gaming community.
