Last Epoch 1.0 Release Date; Respected Diablo Competitor
Eleventh Hour Games has announced that the full version of Last Epoch will be released in February next year, a few months later than the developers had originally anticipated.
We learned the game's early access release date of Last Epoch. Studio Eleventh Hour Games has announced that the game will debut on February 21, 2024.
Admittedly, the developers had originally envisioned a release later this year, but the busy schedule of big game launches prompted them to dealy it.
"We know that February is a later date than we had originally anticipated; our originally anticipated December became a bit crowded with the launches from other studios, and we didn't want to force the action RPG community to make a choice. By moving the game's launch date, we'll also be able to take advantage of a few extra months to fine-tune new systems and classes, complete more bug fixes, and bolster our team with a well-deserved Christmas break."
As the developers Last Epoch claim, the debut of version 1.0 is expected to be the beginning of a new era for the hack 'n' slash, which will receive post-release content as part of so-called cycles, the equivalent of Blizzard's seasons.
What's more, the full release - compared to early access - is expected to raise the bar not only in gameplay, but also for the game's appearance. However, the developers have not announced any changes in the system requirements.
Let me remind you that Last Epoch is an action RPG created thanks to a fundraiser on Kickstarter. The work of independent studio Eleventh Hour Games was released on April 30, 2019 in early access and quickly gained recognition from the gaming community as a good alternative to such brands as Diablo or Path of Exile.
The title has 84% positive reviews on Steam, out of more than 21,000 reviews posted, which is categorized as "very positive."
Last Epoch was released exclusively on PC.
