Using This Trick You Can Question Every Corpse in Baldur's Gate 3
Baldur's Gate 3 surprises at every turn. Thanks to the trick described in the message below, you will be able to interrogate almost every corpse you encounter on the Coast of Swords.
Baldur's Gate 3, despite being on the market for several weeks now, still surprises with interesting and unconventional gameplay solutions.
If you come up with an original approach to a problem or a task you've encountered, it is very likely that the game will enable you to achieve your intended goal - even if the idea seems a bit absurd.
The following can serve as an excellent example here: Speak With Dead, one of the flagship spells from the tabletop Dungeons & Dragons system, on which the gameplay core of Baldur's Gate 3 is based.
However, it's not about the spell itself - this one was faithfully transferred from the 5th edition of D&D - but about, how to maximize its potential in an interesting way..
Good old trickery
As the name suggests, the spell enables the characters to communicate with the dead, giving players the ability to ask the deceased up to five questions.
The ability to interrogate a corpse can be extremely useful. In this way we can get information about the killer and the dangers lurking in the area, discover alternative ways to solve tasks, as well as learn a little about the game world or the treasures hidden in it.
However, in order to have a moment's conversation with the corpse of a person who has already physically left this world, two conditions must be met. First, the corpse must have a mouth, and second, we could not have murdered the unfortunate person ourselves.
It turns out, however, that the latter is not quite true. For we can deceive the deceased, resorting to a trick that will make us change our corporeal shell and the person will not know that they ended their life with our considerable help.
To do this, you need to use Level 1 illusion spell "Disguise." or equip yourself with the mask of a shapeshifter, which will enable you to quickly change your gender and race to any found in Faerun.
It should be remembered, however, that whatever tricks we use, not all corpses in BG3 will be equally talkative - some of them will simply not give us any valuable information.
Let me remind you that Baldur's Gate 3 made its debut on August 3 on PC. On the way, however, is the PS5 console version, which will be released on September 6..
