IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. MiHoYo announced the second major update for Genshin Impact.
  2. "The Chalk Prince and the Dragon" will launch on December 23, adding a new realm and two characters.

This month (on December 23) Genshin Impact will receive update 1.2, "The Chalk Prince and the Dragon". The centerpiece will be a new winter realm - Dragonspine. Along with the launch, a new mechanic will be added, responsible for cooling down the characters' bodies. In order not to freeze to death, we will have to be in constant motion.

Apart from the new location, we will get two five-star characters - Albedo and Ganyu. The first one wields a sword and uses alchemy, while the second newcomer represents the archer class. There will also be new tasks and season events, for which we will receive valuable items.

Not so long ago, Genshin Impact was chosen as the game of the year in Google Play, largely for its high-quality performance and enormous popularity. We would like to remind, that in addition to smartphones, you can also play MiHoYo's game on PC, PS4 and PS5.
