UFL’s new PC playtest is live, and there’s still a chance to get in but it won’t be easy
UFL is one step closer to a PC release with another beta test underway. Here’s your last chance to join.

UFL, developed by Strikerz, is taking on EA Sports FC (formerly FIFA) with its free-to-play model. While it doesn’t have major exclusive licenses like the Premier League or Bundesliga, it makes up for it with some big-name ambassadors. Cristiano Ronaldo even joined as an investor back in 2023. The game launched on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in December 2024 and held a PC playtest in October 2024. Now, it looks like another one is ongoing.
How to get access to the UFL closed PC playtest
Earlier today (March 14th), a UFL dev team member posted a message in the game’s official Discord, confirming that another closed PC test has kicked off. Some players have already received their codes, but there’s still a small chance to sign up. They mentioned a reserve of extra codes for those who missed out, so there’s still hope, we just need to send them a private message on Discord.
They also added:
We ask those who received a code and are participating in the test to leave feedback and discuss the game only in the Steam community section. This is the centralized platform for communication and support during the test. Messages related to the PC test posted in Discord will be removed.
We can probably expect new threads popping up on Steam soon, with players sharing their thoughts on how UFL has improved since the last beta. The game received a mix of positive and constructive feedback back then, but overall, it showcased a lot of potential.
Players liked the manual defending and realistic passing mechanics that require proper body positioning. However, areas like dribbling, shooting, graphics, sound, and overall responsiveness still needed some work. So, maybe a PC release date isn’t too far off.
