Free-To-Play EA Sports FC 25 Rival With Release Date. UFL Promoted by Cristiano Ronaldo Outpaces Competition
We learned the release date of the free-to-play UFL. The football game from Strikerz studio will hit the market before the release of EA Sports FC 25.
Following the release of the gameplay trailers for EA Sports FC 25, the second open beta of the online UFL took place. UFL is a free alternative to the popular Electronic Arts football series. The tests have recently been completed, so the developers have given us the official release date for the discussed title. The game from Strikerz studio will be released on September 12, 2024, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Although UFL will be distributed in a free-to-play model, the game will be enriched with paid content. As part of pre-orders, we have the option to purchase a Starter Pack containing "exclusive benefits," as well as gaining access to the game 7 days in advance (September 5).
The mentioned set costs $14.99 on PlayStation Store (at the time of writing, no price is listed on the game card in Microsoft Store) and consists of:
- 3 items for personalization (Lovorika t-shirt, Zlato shoes, and Lavalampe gloves);
- Estádio do Redentor stadium;
- 20,000,000 game's currency.
UFL is promoted by Cristiano Ronaldo himself, who is also one of the game's investors. It seems that the Al-Nassr striker has successfully encouraged football fans to check out the title. Over 1.5 million clubs were created during the mentioned beta tests, demonstrating the strong anticipation for solid competition against EA Sports FC.
