UFL will not be released this year. The release of the new competitor to FIFA has been postponed until 2023. The developers announced their decision in a video, in which they explained the reasons.
Developers need more time
In the material, the developers revealed that their goal is to deliver a full-fledged AAA game, which does not differ in quality from the works of the competition. To achieve this, however, they need a little more time.
The developers will devote it to making improvements to key mechanics and improving the artificial intelligence. The visuals are also to undergo a facelift.
At the same time, the developers confessed that currently UFL is about 80% complete. In the near future, meanwhile, they intend to publish more footage from the game, keeping us updated on progress. In December, we should receive a release date. The game will hit PS4 and PS5, as well as Xbox One and Series S/X.
