As part of yesterday's summary financial results of the CD Projekt group we learned that the fourth part of The Witcher series is in pre-production. Apparently, this means that a significant number of developers are involved in work on the game. It turns out that the team responsible for the new The Witcher consists of more than a hundred people at this point.

The information was given by Adam Kicinski, CEO of CD Projekt, during the recent investor call. He also added that the company is satisfied with the progress of work on the game so far.

The developers cooperate with Epic Games, whose technology (Unreal Engine) will power the game. Nevertheless, they are also preparing their own tools, for example, related to the narrative layer. In any case, the new The Witcher won't be ready anytime soon.
