Since last weekend, most gamers have been captivated by the first official trailer for The Witcher 4. During this time, CD Projekt Red studio representatives have also spoken about it, discussing in an interview the possible links between the game and the "famous" Netflix show.

An interview with Sebastian Kalemba (game director) and Malgorzata Mitrega (executive producer) was published on the Games.ch YouTube channel. In the discussion, the developers were asked if the Netflix series inspired them in any way while working on the fourth installment of The Witcher.

According to CD Projekt Red, the game won't be linked to the streaming giant's show, which will undoubtedly delight many fans. Ciri's new adventure is a story entirely created by a Polish company, drawing direct inspiration solely from the books by Andrzej Sapkowski.

However, it's worth reminding about the "next-gen" update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Alongside the new quest, it also unveiled set inspired by two armors designed for the Netflix series.

Finally, let us add that today, as a bonus, we also received the first official song from the upcoming game – No Gods, Only Monsters. P.T Adamczyk is responsible for it.
