The Most Terrifying LoL Champion Announced
The devs of League of Legends have published an announcement of a refreshed version of one of the oldest characters available in the game. According to the available information, this is supposed to be the most terrifying character to walk Summoner's Rift.

- According to the developers, this will be the most terrifying LoL character;
- Its mechanics are designed to reflect the champion's character - the players will use them to scare, hide, and create nightmarish ambushes.
There are currently 148 champions in League of Legends. You'll admit that this is quite a number, but you have to bear in mind that some of them (especially those who have been available since the beginning of the game) have long since fallen short of current standards, both in terms of visuals and gameplay. Developers from Riot Games are constantly working on updating such characters to make them fit the gamers' tastes again. Over the past few years, Pantheon, Taric, Aatrox and Akali have experienced significant changes.
This time the devs have decided to work on Fiddlesticks, an 11-year-old champion (the next is Volibear), and, as highlighted in many materials, they intend to make him the most terrifying character in League of Legends, who will be terrorizing others by his very presence, and "wreak mental havoc on their victims" in the hands of experienced players. A brief, atmospheric trailer of the refreshed version of Fiddlesticks, released yesterday, can be watched below.
But let's move on to what the new Fiddlesticks will offer. The devs want to make the character scary not only in appearance but also in terms of available mechanics. Playing with him, we get the opportunity to create ambushes, hide and scare others, and a well-timed move will tip the scales of victory to our advantage. Enemies will never be sure whether what is happening on the screen is real or just another nightmarish illusion.
One of the most interesting mechanics will most likely be imitating the voices of other champions we've seen in the teaser above. Conceptually, Fiddlesticks is a demon trapped in a scarecrow - he has no internal organs, brain, or even vocal cords. His dialogue lines are meant to be a primitive imitation of the characters he met and killed. So it is quite possible that by pretending to be someone else, he will try to lure his opponents. Currently, we have not yet learned the exact mechanics of his refreshed skills. We know that the special ability will remain unchanged. Only its animations and sound will be improved, as you can see on the material below.
