The Game Awards is Not Only Dragon Age 4

Geoff Keighley revealed that over a dozen new games will be revealed during The Game Awards 2020. The gala is to last 2.5 hours.

On Thursday, this year's The Game Awards gala will take place. Its host, Geoff Keighley, organized an AMA session on Reddit, where he answered tsome questions from Internet users. This way, we learned what we can expect from this year's edition of the event.

The gala will last about 2.5 hours, during which at least twelve new games will be revealed. These will include both high-budget AAA productions and smaller projects. Interestingly, Keighley said that so far no information about any of these announcements has leaked.

This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event will take place online and the gala will be broadcast from three locations - London, Tokyo and Los Angeles. The main stage will be in the last of these cities, and the award nominees will take part remotely from their own homes or studios.

Geoff Keighley also revealed that someone he has long dreamed of working with will be joining him as co-host for the event. We are to learn the identity of this person soon. Moreover, it was confirmed that one of the guests will be Josef Fares, a developer known from A Way Out. At last year's gala he announced It Takes Two, so we will probably see new materials from this project.

Earlier it was revealed that among the presenters there will be Brie Larson, the main star of Captain Marvel, and Tom Holland, who will probably show the first materials from the movie adaptation of Uncharted. There will also be live music performances, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, which will play songs in the famous Abbey Road studio, and Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam.

This year's Game Awards will start on December 10 at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT. During the gala we will be able to watch, among others, the presentation of Dragon Age 4.
