The Final Station to hit PC and consoles on August 30
Zombie apocalypse sounds easy when you have a train at your disposal. On August 30, 2016, The Final Station is going to prove that this isn't always the case.
Announced several months back, The Final Station is just around the corner – the game is coming to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on August 30, 2016. This is an indie project developed by Oleg Sergeyev and Andrey Rumak and published by tinyBuild, which is to introduce us to a zombie-infested post-apocalyptic Russia. While being a survival game at its core, The Final Station’s fundamental feature is the train, which you have to use not only as a means of transport, but also as your base of operations.
Across five chapters that make up The Final Station single player campaign your task will be to stay alive and help others survive. In order to do that you’ll have to travel from one station to another and gather precious resources along the way. You will also have to fight off the infected, keep your machine in good shape as well as decide whether to let other survivors on the train or let them die and loot them later – both options will have valid pros and cons. The biggest difficulty is that you are always low on supplies and you never know what awaits you next. Read more about the game in this blog entry on Steam.
