We've received a solid dose of information on Skyros, a mod that is supposed to port Westeros from Game of Thrones to the Skyrim engine. The developers have made a lot of progress over the past year, although it's still just a drop in the bucket.

A few days ago, the creators of the Skywind mod for TES V: Skyrim, which aims to move the third part of the series to a newer engine, released a video in which they inform about the current status of the work. Unfortunately, we still don't know the mod's official release date.

In order to play Skyrim Special Edition you're going to need a rather decent PC. The rig that let you play the original game may not be enough.
