At last, a few minutes ago the game was released and many players decided to download the game at the same time. It seems that it caused some problems for Microsoft servers. Watch out, as it seems that even if you load everything properly, and decide to leave the game, it is possible that you will have to download everything again. So, leave the game at your own risk.
Developers are aware of the problem and try to fix it as soon as possible. They have informed about it on the official X account.
So, it seems that you have to be patient. Alternatively, try to download the game later, once the servers will be a little bit less occupied. However, taking into consideration it is the release day, it might be difficult for a few hours from now.
