STALKER 2 PC Preload (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, GoG) Explained

Preload allows players to download files in advance before the release of a particular game. Developers often enable this option, if their creations are large. Of course, many people seize this opportunity, especially those who have slower Internet connection. The latest STALKER is not small. It requires around 160GB of free disk space. That being said, will you be able to preload it?

Xbox console users received the good news a few days ago, as they are able to download all the necessary files prior to release. The situation for PC players is worse, as no preload has appeared on this platform so far.

Update: It seems that if you have decided to enjoy your Stalker 2 via PC Game Pass, you can preload some files now. However, it has only 10MB, the rest you will have to download tomorrow.

On the game's official Discord channel, under the ‘GSC asnwers’ tab, information has appeared about a preload for PC players. Unfortunately, this is not good news. From its content, we can learn that it will not be available at all. At this point, the only option is to wait for the release, which is just two days away, and download the game day 1.
