Today’s the big day! Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has officially launched! Excited players rushed to download the game, only to be met with frustrating server errors. The loading times have been so slow that some have jokingly labeled it "Microsoft Loading Simulator". But the challenges don’t end there. Even those who successfully downloaded the game are facing additional problems, such as black screens on launch or issues with the Xbox Network. Read on to learn more.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 – Black Screen and Problems with Launching the Game

If you're unable to launch Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 or encounter a black screen after the Xbox logo, outdated graphics drivers or corrupted game files are likely the culprits. Updating your drivers and verifying game integrity should be your first troubleshooting steps.

If these solutions don’t resolve the problem and your PC meets the minimum system requirements, it’s best to report the issue to the support team for further assistance.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 – No Cursor in Xbox App

If you’re unable to see a cursor while trying to log in or create an account in the Xbox App, try pressing the Windows key on your keyboard. Alternatively, you can use ALT + TAB or ALT + ENTER to bring the cursor back to the screen.

For problems with typing email address, select Create Account and enter the email for your existing account. The system will notify you that email is already linked to an account and provide alternative login options.
