Many fans would argue that there are better games in the aRPG genre than the latest instalment in Diablo series. Even though the direct competitor seems to be Path of Exile, there are other titles that are worth attention. A very promising proposition is Last Epoch, which recently left Early Access and is now in version 1.0. This fact encouraged numerous people to try this game, but also brought back fans who were enjoying it during the EA period. Due to that, the production blew up in popularity so much that its infrastructure couldn’t handle all the players. Many of them reported a problem where there is 0 people in the queue while attempting login, but the game still won’t let them in. It can also happen that the queue number is not progressing at all for a long time. If you are also experiencing such situation, here you will learn more.

Stuck in queue in Last Epoch explained

To alleviate the strain on Last Epoch servers, the developers have introduced queue system, yet often it doesn't work as it should and prevents people from logging in. Many times, the counter will go down to 0 indicating that it’s your turn to play, yet it won’t let you in. Also, waiting a long time while the number is at 0 doesn’t seem to cut it either. Another problem that fans reported is that their position in the queue does not change at all and is outright stuck for as long as 45 minutes.

Unfortunately, it appears like there is nothing that can be done about it. The only attempt that can be made is to restart the game in hopes that it will progress the counter and finally log in. Of course, it will put you in the very bottom of the queue, yet that should not matter, since it was not advancing in the first place.

The developers from Eleventh Hour Games don’t have any good news either. Their only advice for long queue times as of now is to play in offline mode. They have shared a dedicated guide on how to do it. Currently, we can only hope that this will be eventually properly addressed by the creators, and we will be able to enjoy the full multiplayer experience.
