Official Twitter profile of the Resident Evil series issued a special warning today, aimed at Resident Evil 4 Remake players. According to the information provided, there is a bug in the game that, in the worst case scenario, prevents further progression.

The problem relates to Chapter 12, where, after the initial cutscene is shown, the protagonist receives a special item that is crucial to the progression of the storyline.

According to the developer's recommendations the player should refrain from executing knife attacks until the information about obtaining the new item appears on the screen.

The problem is said to appear on all platforms. Capcom apologizes for any inconvenience, and pledges to fix the bug in an upcoming update. The announced patch is also expected to help those players for whom the problem in question has already occurred.
