Resident Evil 4 Remake Demo for All; New Teasers Available
The demo version of Resident Evil 4 Remake is now available. It can be downloaded by users of all platforms.
The rumors, which we reported of yesterday, turned out to be true. During the Capcom Spotlight event a demo version of the remake of Resident Evil 4 was made available. It can be downloaded by users of all platforms the title is headed to, i.e. PC, PS4, PS5 and XSX/S. The Steam version can be found here. For the console ones, look for it in the PS Store and MS Store.
The availability of the demo on all platforms is a quite important, as earlier rumors suggested that it would be dedicated to PlayStation consoles. Fortunately, this is not the case, and all interested parties can check out the remake of Resident Evil 4 ahead of its release, which is scheduled for March 24. As an incentive Capcom has released three short teasers of the game. You can watch them below.
As for the demo version of the Resident Evil 4 remake, it offers only the first chapter of the story campaign, ending with an encounter with Chainsaw Man. This means, the demo can be completed in about 15-20 minutes. So it's hard to expect a full picture of the game from this. Nevertheless, even such a short contact with the title should enable you to catch many changes - not only visual - that the remake introduces compared to the original. Especially if you have played the latter.
It's also worth mentioning that Capcom reminded us of the recently announced animated Resident Evil: Death Island. Outside Japan, it is scheduled for release in the summer of 2023.
