Resident Evil 2 Remake is Now the Biggest Bestseller in the Series
Resident Evil 2 Remake has surpassed the threshold of 12.6 million copies sold, becoming the biggest success in the history of the franchise.
Capcom has updated the achievement page of its biggest hits. As a result, we learned the new sales results of many of the publisher's bestsellers. We at this point are most interested in the achievements of the Resident Evil series.
Resident Evil 2 Remake has already sold more than 12.6 million copies, making it the best-selling installment of the series. Just behind it was ranked Resident Evil VII: Biohazard with 12.4 million copies. In turn, this year's Resident Evil 4 found nearly 5 million buyers.
It is worth noting the high sales of last year's Resident Evil Village, which has already exceeded 8.3 million copies. Slightly lower is the result of Resident Evil 3 (7.5 million), which is interesting in that shortly after its release the title was considered a financial disappointment.
