One Piece fans have a lot of room for speculation in such an extensive series as OP. Although there are many popular theories about various issues, one of the more interesting ones is that there are two Shanks, or Shanks has a twin brother. Leaks from chapter 1134, scheduled for release on December 22, suggest that this theory might be proven true, as indicated by the reappearance of a character, prompting questions among readers.

Without diving into what chapter 1134 of One Piece is meant to reveal, let's examine the theory that surfaced some time ago. In 907 OP chapter a shocking event took place. Shanks secretly met with the Five Elders, which sparked fears among fans that the character is actually an antagonist.

This caused a major investigation. Fans began to scrutinize every move of Shanks, suspecting betrayal on his part. Meanwhile, the meeting with the Elders was analyzed, which was intriguing - particularly the manner in which Shanks was introduced. He was presented exclusively from the right side, showing part of the face without the characteristic scar.

OP fans, who didn't want to believe in Shanks' betrayal, began to theorize that it was not the real Shanks who met with the Elders, but his twin. Of course, neither Eiichiro Oda nor the manga itself ever explicitly confirmed his existence, but fans started to speculate that this is the sole way for "Shanks" to interact with the Five Elders.

It must be admitted that Shanks' transformation into a villain really seems to make no sense, as the character was portrayed as a good guy for a long time. In the manga and anime, it is shown how sincerely he cares for Luffy and wants the best for him, while also taking care of those unable to care for themselves and steering clear of unnecessary conflicts, making it hard for fans to imagine he could side with "the bad guys."

Fans also draw attention to another interesting issue - Shanks' meeting with Whitebeard in One Piece chapter 434. Whitebeard then confessed that every time he looks at Shanks' face, his scars hurt, suggesting in this way that someone who looks like the red-haired pirate might be behind them. Earlier, there were suspicions that Figarland Garling was responsible for his scars, but these two characters met during the God Valley incident, and Whitebeard got his scar afterward.

Chapter 1134 will be important for the popular theory about Shanks, just like the next ones. If the fans' observations turn out to be true, it will have a significant impact on the events and dynamics in the series.

The new chapter of One Piece will be available to read on December 22nd on Manga Plus.
