„This wasn’t in the original story.” Tite Kubo confirmed that Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will introduce new plots not featured in manga
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 will feature original content to a much greater extent than before. The news was announced by Tite Kubo himself.
Bleach returns after many years with new seasons. The anime that was on hold is finally resuming to present the concluding storylines in Thousand-Year Blood War. The new episodes became a hit - fans are thrilled with the quality of the new anime and are keen to follow the ongoing story of Ichigo Kurosaki and other Shinigami.
Bleach: TYBW is considered a faithful adaptation, but it turns out that this will soon change in some respects. Tite Kubo, the author of the manga, revealed during the stream that the fourth cour of the anime will feature new stories that weren't included in the manga (via Comicbook). These are to be not just single scenes, but even entire episodes. Nevertheless, the mangaka chose not to disclose any details about what we might see in these new segments.
Well, there’s nothing I can say about the 4th cour yet. But the fact that there’s nothing I can say should tell you something about what to expect. You know, regarding the 4th cour, when watching anime, people might feel like ‘Oh, I’ve never seen this before.’ Like, ‘This wasn’t in the original story’ or ‘Wait, I don’t know this part of Bleach.’ And yes, in the 4th cour, there will be entire episodes where people might be like, ‘I’ve never seen this.’
Tite Kubo remains mysterious, but the mere news that original episodes will appear is already significant. Perhaps this decision is dictated by the fact that the mangaka wanted to use ideas that he was unable to fit into the manga or that he came up with later, after the release of Bleach. TYBW has had some new content so far that was either original to the anime or taken from light novels. However, now it is supposed to be on a larger scale, with whole episodes of new stories.
