Dandadan has been on the lips of many anime fans since its premiere. The new shonen is doing great on Netflix, making it onto the list of the most-watched shows on the platform. The crazy adventures of Momo and Okarun with aliens and yokai were very well received, so Netflix has good news for fans - the anime will return with a second season.

It was announced that new episodes of Dandadan will be released in July 2024. Anime fans will certainly be pleased, as the first season ended at a point where the series takes on a darker tone, and it certainly arouses curiosity about what will happen in the cursed house, a plot introduced in the finale of season 1 of Dandadan.

News about the shonen second season was announced on the day the first one ended. So, fans will have to wait seven months for new episodes, after which they will be thrown right into the middle of the dark action. Dandadan leans more into the horror genre, taking one character on a terrifying journey that will impact him and his friends.

But before that happens, we need to arm ourselves with patience for these few months. As a treat, you will be able to watch another new shonen, Sakamoto Days, on Netflix, which will be released on January 11, 2025. You can also take an interest in the Dandadan manga.
