Previous message:
During the gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live show, we've seen the announcement of Phantom Hellcat, an action RPG set in a theater.
- The game is being developed by Cracow-based Ironbird Creations, an in-house team of All in! Games.
- The project is coming to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
- The PC version will be sold on Steam.
- No planned release date has been announced yet.
The player will take on the role of a girl named Jolene, who mistakenly unleashes an evil locked in theatrical props. As a result, twisted stories from the plays take physical form and begin to threaten the entire world.
Phantom Hellcat will be an action RPG with an arcade combat system. The environment is to be highly interactive, and hit enemies will destroy its elements and knock over props. The fun will be enhanced by the fact that some sections of the campaign are to have a form inspired by the two-dimensional platformer genre.
The plays should also be an interesting element of the gameplay. The heroine will be given the opportunity to perform in various theatrical productions and we will have to ensure that she plays the leading role in each of them, even if the price for this turns out to be the death of her rivals.
