Phantom Hellcat is an action adventure game with RPG and platform game elements, enriched with a combat system right out of slashers, the action of which takes place in a theater. The game was developed by Cracow-based Ironbird Creations studio, an in-house team of All in! Games.

Plot

The player takes on the role of a girl named Jolene, who mistakenly unleashes the evil locked in theatrical props. As a result, twisted stories from the plays take physical form. They kidnap the protagonist's mother, who acted as a guardian to protect the seals by which the dark forces were trapped in this theater.

In order to save her mother, Jolene will have to travel to another dimension consisting of plays distorted by demons.

Game mechanics

Phantom Hellcat is a TPP action adventure game. We explore locations, develop characters, complete quests and, above all, fight using a typically arcade, slasher system.

Encounters are made more attractive by the fact that the environment is highly interactive, and hit enemies destroy its elements and knock over props. The fun is also made more interesting by the fact that some sections of the campaign have a form inspired by the genre of two-dimensional 2.5D platformers, and we can only move around in two dimensions.

Art is also an interesting element of the gameplay. Many of the adventures take place within theatrical productions, which have been transformed by demons into deadly challenges. Defeating dark creatures allows us to earn their masks that provide access to special abilities.
