Persona 4: Golden Went Big on PC; Great Sales on Steam
Persona 4: Golden is recording fantastic sales on Steam. Publisher Atlus reports that players have purchased one million copies of the game in one year since its release.
Persona 4: Golden can boast fantastic sales results on PC. Atlus, the company responsible for development and publication of the game, announced via Twitter that one million copies of the game have been sold since its release in June last year.
Already after a month after the release publisher celebrated 500 thousand copies sold, which was a result well above pre-release estimates. Thanks to these numbers, the publisher decided to strongly support the PC market with games that were previously available only on consoles.
Total sales of Persona 4: Golden on PS Vita and PC reached 2.5 million copies.. SEGA also announced the results of other games in the series. Persona 5: Royal reached 1.8 million and Persona 5 Strikers - 1.3 million (data from April 2021). The series as a whole has broken the threshold of 15 million copies sold since its debut 25 years ago (Revelations: Persona on PlayStation).
