This year's installment of the series centered around the best basketball league in the world will be released on September 6 on PC, PS4, PS5, XOne, XSX/S, and Switch. Importantly, the PC version will finally be the same as the one designed for current generation consoles.
NBA 2K25 will be released in four editions, which differ in content and price. It should be noted that one of the editions - WNBA - will be available exclusively in North America. We will also receive:
- Standard edition, for which we will pay $69.99;
- All-Star edition, priced at $99.99, will come with the game itself as well as 100,000 units of virtual currency and extra content for the MyTeam and MyCareer modes;
- Hall of Fame edition, available in limited quantities and priced at $149.99, includes all the bonuses from the All-Star package, as well as a cover t-shirt featuring Vince Carter for MyCareer Season 1 "Pro Pass," along with 4 starting awards, and a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass.
The developers promise that the upcoming NBA 2K25 will bring significant improvements to the MyCarrer mode, as well as new forms of gameplay for the MyTeam variant.
In addition, PC, PS5, and XSX/S game owners will be able to experience the "sixth era" of MyNBA, as well as a more "compact and interactive city." What's more, a mode focused on the women's basketball section will return, and the latest consoles will have a crossplay function at launch.
