A sports game from the most popular series devoted to basketball. NBA 2K25 allows us to play as the stars of NBA and WNBA teams. We have a wide range of single & multiplayer modes, including the ones allowing to follow the career of a single player or run a basketball team.
NBA 2K25 is the twenty-sixth main part of a series of sports games devoted to basketball. Similar to the previous installments of the series, the game was developed by the Visual Concepts team. The release of this title was handled by 2K Sports, the company overseeing the brand.
Gameplay
The pillar of the gameplay in NBA 2K25 is playing basketball matches. The game has a full NBA license, so it features real players, as well as existing basketball teams.
Game modes
NBA 2K25 allows us to play alone or in multiplayer via the Internet or on a shared screen. The following gameplay modes have been implemented in the game:
- MyCAREER allows us to take control of a player who is just starting to build their career. On PC's and ninth generation consoles, he has an entire city at his disposal, which he can freely roam around.
- MyTEAM allows us to compose our dream team and pit it against other lineups. As part of the weekly King of the Court competitions, we can compete against teams belonging to elite players.
- In MyNBA, we become the manager of a basketball team, operating in one of six eras, and we strive to inscribe ourselves in golden letters in the history of this sport.
- The W allows us to compete in WNBA matches, fighting for the title of the best female player in history (G.O.A.T.).
- PLAY NOW offers quick access to our favorite NBA and WNBA teams.
It is worth noting that only the last three modes are available offline and the rest require an Internet connection.
proPLAY
NBA 2K25 uses proPLAY technology on personal computers and ninth generation consoles. It provides realistic animations and player movements based on real NBA video materials.
