There is no denying that Minato Namikaze is one of the most beloved characters among Naruto fans. Not without reason, Minato became the winner of the poll conducted among the series' fans, which was supposed to select the most popular character. Fans chose the Fourth Hokage from the large group of characters in Masashi Kishimoto's manga.

As a result, the victorious character got his own one-shot, which brought closer to Minato's youth, more specifically the time when he saved Kushina and created Rasengan. The story was very well received by Naruto fans, who enjoyed seeing a character other than the main characters of the series and learning about a past that was previously unknown.

Proof of how well-received Kishimoto's one-shot is can be seen in the fan-made anime currently in the works. For a long time, we haven't heard anything about the unofficial adaptation of Naruto: The Whorl within the Spiral, but recently the creators responsible for this project, Galactic Republic Studio, confirmed that they are still working on it. All the delays and silence resulted from the ongoing recruitment of people who would help with the ambitious project.

Work is now being continued, and we have to wait for further announcements. It must be admitted that even the earlier fragments of the fan-made anime based on Naruto: The Whorl within the Spiral were impressive, and since its elements are still being improved, we can expect a really interesting gift from fans to fans when it is finally finished.
