More 11 bit Studios Games Coming to Game Pass
11 bit studios is expanding its partnership with Microsoft. Some of the Polish company's upcoming games are to be available in Game Pass from launch.
11 bit studios has signed an agreement with Microsoft to provide additional titles to Game Pass.
- It's unclear exactly what games are involved, as the agreement is expected to cover only some of the Polish company's already released and upcoming games. Their list is to be revealed at a later date.
- The new titles covered by the agreement will be available in Game Pass from the moment of release.
- In addition to developing its own games, 11 bit is also a publisher, and it is possible that the agreement will also cover some of the games covered by this aspect of the company's activities.
- A representative of 11 bit said in a stock exchange communication:
"The company believes that making games available in the Game Pass program will have a significant positive impact on the company's financial results in future periods."
Among 11 bit studios' upcoming games are such titles as Frostpunk 2 or The Alters. In addition, the company will be the publisher of Invincible and The Thaumaturge.
Recall that some of the older games by 11 bit (Frostpunk, This War of Mine or Moonlighter) are already available in Game Pass. So apparently the Polish company is satisfied with its cooperation with Microsoft and wants to expand it to more titles. Yesterday we wrote about Sony's chief executive, Jim Ryan, stating that he had talked to all publishers and everyone admitted that they didn't like Game Pass. As you can see, 11 bit thinks differently.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that 11 bit studios was on the list of companies that Microsoft considered for acquisition. Such information was found in the corporation's internal correspondence, which became public when it went into evidence regarding Microsoft acquisition's approval of Activision Blizzard.
