Frostpunk 2 - changes in patch 1.2.0
The maps in Utopia Builder, or free-building mode, have undergone a lot of changes. The developers have improved each of them to some extent, for instance, by reallocating resources or adding new features to the area and fixing existing ones.
Besides, among the most important novelties, the developers mention:
- new faction events;
- deep deposits are now infinite;
- repair of the "endless protests" bug;
- improvement of the idea tree panel;
- improvement of the resource transfer panel;
- shortened save and load time;
- new pop-up tutorial panels.
Of course, this is just a brief presentation of the content of the update. You can check out the full list of changes in the developers' Steam post.
How important the changes and new features are for Frostpunk 2 is well shown by the activity numbers on Steam. The title has been attracting between 500 and 1400 players simultaneously for some time now, while about 2000 players are playing the first installment.
By the way, it's worth noting that the game on the Valve platform is subject to a 20% discount. You can purchase it there for $35.99 until December 4th. The Deluxe edition is also cheaper, which currently costs $67.49.
Frostpunk 2 was released on September 20 exclusively on PC. In the future, the title will also be released on PS5 and XSX/S.
