Minecraft fans, regardless of platform, may feel pampered. A few days ago, new worlds were shown which received ray tracing support on PC (beta version). Yesterday it was revealed that the PlayStation 4 edition will receive full support for VR technology.
Mojang has announced that an appropriate update, which will add support for PlayStation VR, will be available this month (although it is not specified when exactly). What can we expect from virtual reality in Minecraft? No compromises. There will be whole worlds, all the tools and adventures. The developer responsible for adding support for PlayStation VR - SkyBox Labs - has used technology developed a few years ago for other VR platforms.
Minecraft will enable us to play in two VR modes. Full immersion will be available for solo players. If we want to experience the world in a group, there will be a lounge play mode where the image will be shared between the TV and the PS VR display.
