Minecraft Lets you Test New Features From Update 1.21
Minecraft players can already test the preview version of the upcoming update 1.21, one of which is a new pet - a cute armadillo.
Although more than 12 years have passed since the release of Minecraft, the work of Mojang Studios still enjoys great popularity. The source of the game's success is the developers' constant commitment to its development. Proof of the team's perseverance is the latest update, which will soon hit the game. Already today, however - with preview/beta 1.20.60.23 - you can test the most interesting novelties it will introduce
The information posted on the game's official website reveals that the patch numbered 1.21 will bring to Minecraft quite a few interesting novelties.
- One of them, for example, is the presence of a new mob that will now roam the wild savannahs - the charming Armadillo / available in the preview;
- However, the role of the pet will not be limited to curling up into a ball at the moment of danger. The mob will be a provider of a new resource - armadillo shells, from which we will craft (and here another novelty) armor for the wolf / available in the preview;
- However, that's not all. The patch will introduce a brand new item, which is the Crafter. It will work on a similar principle to the traditional crafting table, except that the creation process here will be automatic / available to test for some time;
- Update 1.21 also means changes in the visual aspect of Minecraft. These will be most evident in the Xbox Series X/S version of the game, which will receive 4K resolution support (so far the title has been running in 1080p mode) / available in the preview;
- In addition, the patch will fix several bugs occurring during gameplay / available in the preview.
You will be able to test the new features by launching the "snapshot" version of Minecraft: Java Edition and right now in the preview/beta version in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Details on how to do this can be found in a special article on the game's website.
