Mafia 4 Could be Set on Sicily at the Turn of 20th Century
Insider Shpeshal Nick claims that the action of „Mafia 4” may be set in Sicily at the turn of the 20th century. And the plot is expected to focus on the family of a certain important character from the first part of the series.
Insider Shpeshal Nick spoke, in the latest episode of the XboxEra podcast, about the alleged new installment of the Mafiaseries, about which we wrote about earlier this month. As reported by his anonymous source:
- The action "Mafia 4" may be set on Sicily,
- The events will take place at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries,
- The new game will be slightly more linear than Mafia III and is to resemble the first two parts of the gangster series in this aspect,
- The story will focus on the adventures of Don Salieri's family - the gentleman is well known to the fans of Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven (and its remake called Mafia: Definitive Edition).
Information overlaps
Of course, the above information is not official and therefore should be taken with a pinch of salt - and maybe we will be pleasantly surprised. Nevertheless they coincide with Kotaku's reports from earlier this month that the new instalment of Mafia was a prequel to the original trilogy.
