Kojima Confuses Shows; Announces Podcast During Gamescom 2022
Hideo Kojima did not introduce a new game at this year's gamescom, but promised the fans a chance to gain a deeper understanding of his creative process.

During this year's gamescom opening ceremony, many of the most famous developers had the opportunity to present their latest projects and introduce them to a wider audience. Among them was the much-loved Japanese developer, who surprised the audience with an unusual announcement.
Hideo Kojima is an icon in the video game industry, and his presentations attract a crowd of devoted fans. The podcast he announced, the result of a collaboration with Spotify, turned out to be one of the biggest surprises of the evening.
Titled Brain Structure, the podcast is expected to take a closer look at the creator's creative process and present the intricacies of his mind, as well as introduce a number of guests from various fields related to Kojima's work.
The weekly series is also expected to include a regular news segment, hosted by Geoff Keighley (host of gamescom ONL).
The first episode of the podcast is scheduled for September 8 and is expected to be available exclusively on Spotify. All parts will be available to worldwide audiences in Japanese and English.
Kojima also assured that he is in the process of working on gaming projects that we will hear about in the future..
