Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen are overwhelmed by the heavy atmosphere of the brutal story presented in this series, and therefore have a wish for the anime's creators to provide them with some breathing room.

Jujutsu Kaisen is one of those anime that sticks faithfully to the manga. Therefore, it contains no fillers, and all episodes are canonical, allowing fans to watch without concern about wasting time on an episode that adds nothing to the plot. This isn't so common among shonens, many shows are filled with fillers, and a perfect example of this is Naruto, where out of 720 episodes only 425 are canonical.

So it may come as a surprise that fans are wishing for fillers to start appearing in anime that don't have them. After all, among fandoms, these episodes are usually the most hated because they mess with the canon and the viewers' minds, who no longer know what is true and what is not. However, Jujutsu Kaisen fans on Reddit have recently expressed their desire to see filler episodes in this anime.

They claim that they want to witness a slice of the characters' lives, some more peaceful and amusing moments that would give them a break from the tragic events occurring in the series. Indeed, Jujutsu Kaisen is known for its more mature and brutal tone, where there is no shortage of hard-to-digest events.

More fillers, please... I can't handle all the deaths… -- TheBiggestFan_.

I feel the lack of "filler" or breather arcs in new shounen is a over correction of all the filler we would get in older shounen anime. It's very unfortunate because a lot of times I just want to see the characters get into hilarious things. That's why I'm still hoping one day they animate the [Jujutsu Kaisen] light novels.

Then there are those fans who think every scene where the heroes aren't fighting is useless and can be skipped -- kaykenner54.

Stories need to slow down the pace sometimes to let the reader breathe. Binge reading JJK to catch up feels like a mad dash because of the constant high pacing -- thedoc90.

Ah yes, JJK the only fandom that wants more filler -- DiscordMod877.

Man, I just wanted abit more shenanigans and adventures with the trio and Gojo before all the death and misery -- sinnroth94.

In the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen, despite the absence of fillers, viewers were treated to Jujutsu Strolls at the end of episodes, providing short, humorous scenes for relaxation. They were dropped in the second season. Do you think they should make a comeback in the 3rd season or perhaps there should be fillers in it?
